I am a Lebanese-German environmental engineer currently living in Beirut with my husband. I looove fashion, magazines, newspapers, CAFÉS, museums, biscuits and travelling! Of course I am also highly interested in environmental and women issues ;-)

I started this blog in January 2012 to share snippets of my life in Beirut: Cozy little cafés and restaurants I discover, exciting people I meet, pretty things I buy or just interesting things I read. I hope you’ll enjoy – have a look. And merci for reading – danke!

  15. Hello there, your blog is amazing. Beirut will definitely be a place I would love to visit one day. My deep passion for Gibran has brought me to learn to love Lebanon and it seems that it is a very interesting country to visit. And I have some students from Lebanon and they’re great people. Now meeting you here I surely am glad that my impression on the country has even more become more positive.

Keep the amazing job you’ve been doing and I’m looking forward for our encounter in the blogosphere! :-)

Good morning dear Subhan, that’s very kind of you, thank you! It’s touching how much you like Lebanon. Gebran is great indeed, the Lebanese people are very proud of him. You should visit his museum here soon (in Bcharre) :)

      • Yes, I know. I will! There’s a statue of him in Minas Gerais, as well, so when I visit Brazil in 2014 for the World Cup, that’s a statue not to miss! :-)

You are one of the many reasons I love the internet. It brings people from all over the world to my home. I get to meet others and see bits and pieces of other countries and life styles. All my country likes to do is spew hatred and disinformation about other countries and the worlds peoples. Thank you for being here and showing me a part of your world.

You’re very welcome, thank you for your interest :-)
