Glamour @ DAR

If you’ve discovered this café on your own as a tourist, then you’re a champion! It’s very hidden and located in an unexpected place in Hamra (here), and it’s full of surprises. Not only do they have a small library with beautiful books and fashion magazines but they also have a photography “school” in the first floor, where I found this cute bike and vintage camera. What I love there are the bright colors. A simple and sweet atmosphere with plenty of photos around you. Not too simple anyway, an ex-minister showed up while we were having breakfast! Then I spent half an hour hesitating if I shall buy a huuuge but splendid photo book about Lebanon. As a preliminary solution, I just bought a Glamour! But still thinking of that book…
