Shaking bottles at Amarres

I might be writing too much about Zaytounay Bay. It’s just “3al mouda” at the moment in Beirut, I mean “en vogue”. Whenever you want to go out, people suggest Zaytounay Bay. Or is it always me? Hm, ok, now I remember. I just like the elegant and relaxed atmosphere of the place.. And I loved this super cute and very French restaurant named Amarres (here). I liked the lilac flowers on the table, the dark wooden furniture, the curved bar and this authentic wall full of wine bottles (although I was afraid they would fall over my head with each of my movements). We spent a lovely evening, enjoying the delicious meals (i loved the butter!) and the cute Patchi chocolote boxes they offered us for dessert. Yummiii!

  1. Zaytoune Bay is a really cool place! it’s nice to know I’m not the only one who wants to get out of Hamra or Gemmayze every once in a while ;)
